This is a first glimpse of my rough route following the mountains towards Nepal.
I want to hike along the Carpathians this summer and reach Istanbul before winter 2021.
Update September 2021: Due to the dog problem in Romania, I decided to abandon the rest of my route in Romania (stopping around Brasov). I will continue hiking in Bulgaria but then abandon my dream of hiking all the way to Nepal!
Then I will through Turkey (maybe a bit different than shown on the map) and through the Caucasus next summer.
The Iran will be the plan in year 3, but then it starts to get a bit tricky, how to proceed. So far I'm not bothering about the exact route from there on. It's still 2 years to go :)
