It was a rather unspectacular day, with lots of big bike paths but also a very nice small trail in the Pyra-valley near Morgenröthe in the afternoon. And it was almost all day in the forest, which I like.
One exciting thing: I have a book now. In Mühlleithen, there was a book-box and it was perfect timing, as it just started to rain when I got there. So I hid inside and browsed for a book.
In the morning I passed the Schneckenstein (snail stone), which originated from volcanic material and consists partly of topas stones. Sadly, the stone was fenced off. Then I came to the big lake and Talsperre of Muldenberg, being built in 1920 to provide a basin for drinking water. I had a short chocolate break in the sun, before I hid in the forest from the rain.
The afternoon got a little sunnier, so I even took out my solar module and enjoyed a little view on Carlsfeld. I camped rather early, but my feet were tired and wet and cold. Plus, I have a book to read now :)
Beautiful tree ruin in Pyra-valley
