Spain - Day 5: Cold but beautiful

A cold morning awaited me! At least the frosted landscape looked beautiful. I walked in parts in the nature park, up on a mesa and then followed a dry creek all the way down into the valley. Very beautiful!!! At the end of the short hiking day, I even got to see the snow covered Sierra Nevada, which I will contour on the Southern side and then cross it within the next days. I hope I'll have lots of sunshine then.

The weather here is changing so quickly! While I had some sun in the morning and late afternoon, it was cloudy, windy and really cold around noon. I was able to hike in a T-Shirt on my first days but currently I am wearing 2 pullovers and a rainjacket in addition!

Oh, and I picked up a dog again! I don't know what's wrong with me and dogs. Either they hate me or they follow me. So now there is a calf-sized dog laying outside of my tent!

A cold morning!
