Day 116: Detouring to Mt. Murgash

It was a nice sunset, a warm night and the day started sunny. I continued on the Kom Emine, had a quick stop for more water and was soon in the forest again. For a change  the trail was a single trail fir a long time in the morning. Luckily it is a well walked path, so it was easy to follow.

When I came closer to Mt. Murgash, I followed trail markers, which made me walk quite a bit of a detour and finally lad me up to the peak. Not what I had intended, but nice on a sunny day and during my detour I passed some water, which I appreciated. I'm drinking quite a lot at the moment, since it is so sunny.

The afternoon was less spectacular, walking mostly in the forest and entirely on roads. Still nice!!! And apart from some cows, nobody crossed my way all day.

When I was looking for a campspot on my map, I had seen some flatter part, away from the road. But when I was getting close, I discovered, that there was a huge fence for over 1 km on that side of the trail. No idea, what this is!!! At least it was a trail and not a road like shown on the map. So I found a nice spot next to some older beech trees but was bothered a bit by deer louse flies. They annoyed me already all day, but when I read up about them tonight, I could feel them everywhere although there were none...

Sunset the night before

Nice view in the morning

Very slow water source - need for some creativity

Forest!

View from Mt. Murgash (1687 m)

Continuing over grassy hills and back into the forest
