Day 115: Walking holidays in sunshine

The night was pleasant but I waited for the sun to hit my tent, before I started moving. I walked through town and had a short visit in the grocery store, where I bought only a few cookies. I am progressing fine in this weather and I will probably have to drop down from the ridge at some point anyways to buy food. So the things I have should be sufficient, even for an eating monster like me ;)

After town I walked up quite a lot, but all nice smooth and not too steep. Also, it was mostly on roads. Paved or dirt roads. Only a few bits were on single trails. There were a few dogs around town snd the village I passed, but mostly fenced in. Just 2 dogs were coming closer, but once I picked up a stone, they were gone :) No sheep today!

I walked through open meadows but mostly through forests or at least between trees, so it wasn't too hot. The air in the morning is really cold, but once the sun comes out, it gets so warm, that I walk in T-Shirt and shorts. After the ascend, it was really nice hiking with only little elevation difference and never really steep. So nice and unusual;) The afternoon was more in open areas, but there were some clouds as well.

Before setting up camp, I wanted to get water at a spring not far away. However, the last bit was slow, since my stomach was aching. Probably from all the blackberries I was eating all day... I got some water and hid in the forest.

Another really relaxed day on the Kom Emine. If this trail and weather continue like that, its going to be like holidays ;)

Looking back

So many blackberries!!!

These grassy hills are so flat and nice to walk
