Greece - Day 11: Aghiofarango gorge

The night was crazy windy, but luckily I was protected in my tent behind the bamboo. But I still didn't sleep that well, because there was a major decision to make the next day: will my route follow the mountains or the coast.
The morning brought clear skies and some magnificent views. It was a relaxed day, since most of the hiking was on roads and the elevation gain wasn't too bad. However, I did have a real highlight: the Aghiofarango gorge. If it wouldn't have been morning, I would have stayed and camped there. Obviousely it is a tourist attraction, because for the first time, I saw other active tourists: day-hikers and climbers.
I approached the coast and populated landscape far too early. Even after some shopping in a grocery store in Pitsidia, it was just early afternoon. Since I had decided to skip the mountain Rache around Psilorotis, the first part of my new route will follow the very populated flatland around Tymbaki, where I assume that camping will be difficult. So I set up my tent very early around some olive grove. Just that they are so open and so many roads around, that I am hiding behind a tree on a slented surface... I guess following the coast, it will often be harder to find good camping spots.

A beautiful morning
