Greece - Day 22: What a lazy life...

It rained a lot at night. The morning started cool and dark. So I decided to turn around and sleep a bit more. When I finally woke up, it didn't look better and I started reading, thinking it's going to be another tent day. Whenever there was a bit sun and I thought I could start packing, it rained again. Not much, but gray clouds were still around.
Before noon, I managed to make use of a sunny phase, packed and got started. The weather turned out to be quite good, it drizzled twice, but there was more and more sun. So I even had a lunch break at a chapel, trying to dry my things a bit.
I walked mainly on roads, because I had tried some smaller paths in the morning, but the grass was tall and still very wet, which meant the usual "car wash", which I wasn't keen on.
The area around must have burnt down not too long ago, which made nice pictures. And later on, with ghe clouds disappearing,  I was even able to see the mountains around.
Already before 3 pm, I set up my tent. It was a lovely spot in the sun, I couldn't resist. There would have been houses,  bigger roads and steep slopes for the next bit. Probably also olive groves, but I wNted something rlse for a change. So I decided to have a leasure afternoon, getting my things dried and just enjoying the scenery. An advantage is also, ghat it got really windy and my spit is relatively protected. Tomorrow its supposed to be nice sunny again! All good arguments to have a quiet day of only 20 km :)
