Greece - Day 9: A wet night, some roads and a brautiful pine forest

The night was a nightmare. It was so windy, that I didn't wanted to put my rain fly on. But at the same time it got so foggy, that everything was wet in the morning. At night, the fog was making drops on my net of the inner tent and the wind was sprinkling the water in my face. I was hoping for the morning to get better, but when it was still foggy and crazy windy around 7 am, I packed all my wet things and started into the day.
Luckily I quickly came onto the right path, followed it over a little saddle and descended into the next tiny  village. And then the clouds lifted and the sun came through - magnificent! But some clouds were persistent  as you can see on the pictures.
I hiked mostly on roads today - some paved, some dirt roads, but all very quiet.
A chapels at the road was perfect for an early lunch break and to dry my wet sleeping bag.
Since it was (again) sunny but hazy, I skipped the 1200 m high Mt Kofinas, but went around and down on a well marked trail towards the sea. I passed a wonderful smelling pine forest and decided to set up my camp - early, but so beautiful!
