I started the day lazy. when I woke up at 4:30 am, my tent was wet and I decided that it is Sunday and not the time to get up yet. I turned around and when I finally was awake again, I had a huge breakfast - hey, it's Sunday, right :)
The E3 makes a long detour along the border in Poland and then back again in the Czech Republik. My campspot was already on a short cut, but when I looked at the map and saw, that I would miss Snieznik (the highest mountain of this range), which is high enough to have subalpine vegetation and thus potential views, I decided to make a loop to the mountain. Instead of a 5 km shortcut, it was a 30 km detour. But really nice. Especially the over 10 km hiking directly on the border. The E3 was less interesting, basically a bicycle path.And since it was Sunday, I set up my tent early on my way up to mount Serak, and had a relaxed evening, sitting in the sun and being lazy!
