Day 90: Spectacular mountains and some fog

Finally, walking :) I started in the fog this morning and with gloves on my hands(!), but the clouds were often blown over the ridge, so I got glimpses of the beautiful mountains around me.

I had a spectacular day of ridgewalking in the National Park and took too many pictures. Technical not complicated or zoo steep, it still felt very alpine. But it was aldo a bit stressful due to the weather... While I was often walking in the fog in the morning and afternoon, being afraid it might rain, the clouds lifted around noon. And I even changed from rainpants, pullover and rainjacket into my wet windjacket and shorts for a while.

Since it was a productive day, I have less than 50 km to go to town. I should be able to arrive on Saturday and hopefully be able to buy new shoes etc. Otherwise I'll have to wait until Monday!

The first glimpses of the mountains in the morning

Everything is wet from the fog

Using every moment when there is a bit of a view to take a picture

Lovely ridge walk

An exhausting and stressful (does it rain on me?) but lovely day!
