Italy - Day 17: Sila Nationalpark on roads

Seems like it is time to go home soon. This morning I discovered that my hip belt is nearly ripped off and my silk liner has so many holes... oh yeah, the zipper of my outer tent is also not closing anymore!

Today started cold again and with more road and dirt road walking. Then I had a little bit of overgrown path in a pine forest and decided to walk for a short time on a big road, because the trail was totally overgrown.

I passed the dammed Lago Passante and then entered Sila National Park on paved roads. I was looking forward to get back in a National Park, but the trail was partly on paved roads and always on wide forest roads. Still nice to walk through the pine dominated forest though. Despite the dry weather, the temperatures are pretty cool (I also walked up again to overgrown 1600 m) and thus it is not much fun to take longer breaks.

Nice morning
