I tackled my highest mountain of the day, the 1900 m high Sarantaina, where I saw nothing! The weather wasn't as nice as yesterday and I was quite often walking in the clouds, but it made for some pictures moments. I was still hiking on ridges, but luckily they were flat grassy hills, in parts even with some 4 wheel tracks. Once it got up steeply and I totally felt like on a ridge in the Ukraine, where the 4 wheel drive tracks are sometimes insanely steep. But this one wasn't even that bad!
I had to walk around some smaller snow fields, cause the snow was frozen and I was too lazy to get out my microspikes. All in all, the mir jng was rather gray!
In the afternoon, the weather was going back and forth between drizzling and sun (drizzling dominated), sometimes both at the same time. I dropped down through Myriki into Karpenisi, where I was again on the E4. A quick shopping stop before I headed up the hill with lots of food.
On a lovely meadow I found a great hidden spot under some spruce trees. Just my heels hurt like he'll, cause they were rubbing agains the wet socks and I ignored it...
